Last year APWT Conference was such a blast for me. It was amazing to meet with writers from different countries in Asia Pacific Region and have intimate conversation with each of them. And of course, I had privilege to be present as keynote speaker of the conference which highlight the theme Indigenous Voice. I also had two other panels; Indigenous Voices in a Global Setting with Eugenia Flynn and other fellows Australian Aboriginal writers Hannah Donnelly, Philip McLaren and Melissa Luccashenko; then The Inside Business: Literary Journals and Festivals with fellow editors Shina, Sujata Parashar, Cate Blake and Ian See.
Again, I am honored to be invited as APWT's guest for this year conference that will be held in Griffith University, Gold Coast, Australia on 5-7 December 2018. I am excited to come and of course introducing my latest book ME, MODERNISM AND MY INDIGENOUS ROOT that will share my experience in discovering my identity as an indigenous Dayak Maanyan woman who was born in the 20th century when digitalization has been overtaking human's world!
As this year conference will be open to public, i highly recommend you to join as well. Click here to get more information about APWT Conference 2018. Cheers!
