RANU WELUM FOUNDATION

Ranu Welum is designed to empower indigenous Dayak youth in various areas: social, cultural, economic, educational, political, civil, and environmental. Founded in 2014 by Emmanuela Shinta with a small group of ten young people, today Ranu Welum is known globally for its involvement at the frontline of the annual peat fires and resulting toxic haze in Kalimantan that has been happening for twenty-two years during the dry season.

YOUTH ACT CENTER

Young people have been equipped with education, technology and skills. This is the time for the youth to come back to their roots and use their power to build their communities. Launched in 2016, YOUTH ACT is a movement which calls for all indigenous youth in Indonesia to speak up about the issues in their communities and land, and take action as the part of the solutions.

INDIGENOUS FILM FESTIVALS

IIFF stands for International Indigenous Film Festival, a non-profit body established to support and develop social documentary filmmaking within the context of indigenous values in preserving culture and voice the rights of indigenous people. Initiated from the grassroots level in Kalimantan since 2015. Indigenous Film Festival has evolved from a local event to an international event since 2018.
